On April 11th and 12th, 2017, the Jagiellonian University hosted the 3° Steering Committee meeting of the ECO-RED project.
Partners from European and Vietnamese Universities met in Cracow to verify the status of the project and to plan the future activities.

The Survey on Labour Market Needs (WP1) has been a very good example of participatory process with more than n. 139 contributions from local stakeholders: n. 31 enterprises, n. 80 households and n. 28 government agencies in four regions of the country. The local seminars on European Higher Education system (WP2) aroused great interest of the internal staffs of the Vietnamese Universities, which are waiting for the short online courses that will be published in September.
According to the European and Vietnamese standards, the Consortium has worked in the elaboration of the detailed syllabus of the n. 5 new courses on Renewable Technologies and Energy Efficiency:
ECO-RED project will give to the students the opportunity to combine theoretical skills with practical competences. HUST, CTU and HCMUT are completing the procedure for the purchasing of didactic laboratories. The list of equipment includes solar power systems (Thermal collectors and photovoltaic modules), biofuel units (biodiesel generator and extraction system), Wind turbine energy trainer and measurement kit.
To make stronger and durable the International collaboration born thanks to ECO-RED project, all partners agreed to sign Bilateral agreement, committing to develop new research activities and educational proposals.
The next Steering Committee meeting is foreseen from 25th to 30th of September 2017 at CTU (Viet Nam).
